WPVI screen capture

On Wednesday morning, November 11, PALS volunteers took possession of 115 pedigree cats from a private home in Audubon, PA. Here is the story as reported by channel 6 news WPVI in Philadelphia. And here is the story and video coverage from Fox news in Philadelphia. We must now provide for these animals, some of whom are in need of medical attention, and we need your help.

We would love to have the following:

Towels (clean please), food, litter, beds, toys, scratching posts, carriers, kitty condos, bathroom rugs (clean please), a radio, a working television

If you are a vet we would love donations of antibiotics, dewormers, flea meds. Short dated or even mildly expired gratefully accepted

All donations can be dropped off at the Petsmart Adoption Center in Tredyffrin or Broomall (maps below) or we may be able to arrange transport

We are in the process of photographing and posting the cats on our website. We are a volunteer organization which is stretched right now financially and time-wise so please be patient. This has been a big project and we are all working as hard as we can to get information online for you.

How to adopt one of these cats:

The cats are being housed in a location in Delaware County. The donor of the location does not want it disclosed except to approved, serious adopters. The procedure we are following is:

1. Please complete our adoption form. This will come to us electronically right away. You can also apply in hard copy at either of our Petsmart locations. Check the maps below. You can also print the form and fax it to 610-353-7387

2. An adoption coordinator will be in touch with you and will start working on the approval as quickly as possible. This should not be more than a few days and in most instances is within a day.

3. Once approved, we will take you to visit the cats and you can choose the one you want.
